Things Important to Be Noted for Glass Reactor After Use

Double-walled glass reactors are commonly used equipment in laboratories. Proper use and standardized maintenance can ensure experimental safety and extend the life of the equipment.

Key points for maintaining laboratory jacketed glass reactor:

1. After the experiment, promptly clean the reactor body with a suitable solvent to prevent material residue from corroding the glass and seals.

2. Wipe all interfaces with a soft cloth, then apply a small amount of vacuum grease.

3. Do not overtighten any interfaces; loosen them periodically to prevent long-term tightening from causing connectors to seize.

4. Do not overtighten PTFE valves, as this can easily damage the glass.

5. After shutdown, loosen all PTFE valves; prolonged stagnation in a working state can deform the PTFE piston.

6. Regularly check the wear of seals.

7. When not in use for extended periods, clean the reactor body and interfaces, cover with a dust cover, and store in a dry, well-ventilated area.

8. Avoid direct sunlight, impacts from heavy objects, and keep away from corrosive environments.

9. Electrical components must not be exposed to water or moisture.

10. Regularly calibrate the temperature control and vacuum systems to ensure stable equipment performance.
