1. Water heating: When temperature requirements are not high, water can be used as a heating medium. Water heating systems are categorized into open and closed types.

2. Steam heating: Steam can be used to heat a double-walled glass reactor when the required heating temperature is below 100°C.

3. Electric heating: This method involves wrapping resistance wires around the insulation layer of the reactor vessel, or mounting them on specialized insulated supports positioned at a certain distance from the reactor.

4. Alternative medium heating: When operations require higher temperatures, or when the use of high-pressure heating systems must be avoided, other media can be used in place of water or steam.
